When I first came to Austin, I needed a local bank and literally found the first one I drove by. I unfortunately picked Wells Fargo. I after 6 years became tired of the lackluster service, fees, and the straw the broke the camel’s back was the inability to get a safety deposit box near my location and the cost of said deposit box was 30 bucks a month. So I started researching other banks and I found Wachovia. I first chose them because of the no cashier check fees, no ATM fees(even at other banks), free safety deposit bank, free checks. All this is with a minimum 4000 account balance. The most important thing though is the service. You get a personal banker that can help you make transfers on the phone and in general just help you with any of your banking needs. I know I sound like the commercial, but I just don’t understand a lot of my friends who stick with their old bank just because its hard to changes some direct deposit information. I thought the same thing until I saw how much better Wachovia is.

I had a worst Customer Service experience at Wachovia, Horizon Park Financial Center, Tampa, FL branch. I been a Wachovia customer for about 5-6 years who holds a Money Market A/C, Crown Checking A/C and 3 IRA A/C’s. last week i had a second time worst unforgettable customer service experience at Horizon Park Financial Center, Tampa, FL4733 with Christopher Beebi. Everything is suppose to change with time
and i guess so is Customer Service at Wachovia which is going down the hill and I can see if it stays like this it won’t be long before Wachovia who been a leader in Finance will lose business. I had a conversation to the Financial Center Manager Jorge Arriola last to last week and who didn’t seem much concerned with the issue and it happened again last week. I guess its time to move on to some other Financial institute who care for their customers unlike Wachovia who don’t seem to care any more. I believe you can train somebody who don’t have the skills but you cannot change the one’s attitude. People at the above stated branch dont like when they have to work, i mean when people walk in for any transactions. They rather sit ideal talk and enjoy rather take a customer.
I will just suggest anybody who is going to that particular branch should start going to some other branch or be ready to face a similar experience.
