After browsing through the list I have discovered that I have actually done 2 things…so proud of myself! Austin Zoo and I have attended a Round Rock Express game…which was actually really fun!! I don’t much care for baseball, but the night was stormy and we won 7-2 against the Sounds…very cool

It seems to have morphed – I read on one site that the “keep austin weird” mugs are made in China – not exactly the original goal of supporting local businesses….

I’ve been in Austin since 1995 – have done 15 of the 30 – unfortunately, even Ikea . Hopefully that can be offset by doing number 22 – including the yelling!

I’m a newbie to Austin…I don’t think I’ve done any of those yet…been here for 8 months…I’ve seen the Keep Austin Weird stuff…can someone explain to me exactly what that is and why it’s so important so I can understand it better? Austin is going to be my permanent home so I’d like to know/experience as much about it as possible…was curious about the comment left by Pete

Why in the world would Ikea make that list? Love it or hate it, it definitely doesn’t fit the “Keep Austin Weird” motto.
