Went there tonight for the first time with my husband, and had a nice experience. Staff was very friendly and the food was good. We will be going back in the future. Thanks for opening a place that's quite and relaxing.

I have to rave about a dessert we tried there the other night... all of the desserts our table had were great, BUT one in particular - oh my goodness!

Strawberries are rolled in a "champagne" dough and then fried, topped with powdered sugar and served a la mode... imagine a strawberry in a funnel cake and you've got it.

Heaven!!

And, I have to defend the staff there - Joelle and Kim are both absolutely lovely, friendly, and so helpful... they always recognize us and chitchat a little bit on every visit even if we are not at "their" table. Similarly, Mike and Chef Paul can't be beat!

We love the neighborhood feel there and we are so lucky to have such a wonderful place in Steiner!

I'm going to have to agree...definitely some 50K lotto winners hanging out. Bar /wait staff other than Mike and Josh are weak to put it nicely. Quite a few noses in the air and I'm not sure why? I mean it's a decent place and all but please - "top 3 in Texas"? You really should eat out more often.

I like to go in once in a while to enjoy the variety of quality wines and beers, but usually can't get past the first glass without my stomache turning over at some pretentious act by a patron or staff.

What ever.

My husband and I ate at Fion about a week ago. The service was terrific as was the food. I ordered the pork chops and they were initially undercooked. Before I could say a word the server noticed the problem and offered to have the chef correct the issue. It was handled promptly and with above and beyond service. Not only did they comp my meal (was not necessary) the chef came by to apologize. My husband enjoyed his eggplant sandwich and the "new and improved" chops were outstanding! This situation was handled so professionally that I will absolutely be visiting Fion again. For the price and good food I dare anyone to find something comparable near or in Steiner.

The food was incredible. We ate out on the patio -- very relaxing environment. The staff was right on top of anything we needed.....overall we loved the experience at Fion and reccomend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a nice night out, with amazing food, and a beautiful environment.

We are in the process of relaunching the website. There are just a few more things that need to be added to it to finish it up. We should be able to launch it by this weekend or early next week, and there will be all menus and much more info available on it at that time. Thanks for your patience and overwhelming support!

I travel the world when I work, and eat at the best restaurants from Paris to New York. Fion is now in my top 3 of Texas. Their product is extremly fresh, made with love, and flavorful. The menu is creative, yet classic and fairly priced. Plus, There's pairing suggestions and almost endless selections of beverages. They have won me and my wife over with their cast iron seared beef tenderloin. Yum! And then their napoleon dessert.. OMG!! nuff said. I only hope Steiner residents know how lucky they are to be home to such a gem.

I have been reading through these posts for some time now. I have been a resident here long before this blog even started, and I am very aware of the changes (both good and bad) that have occurred in this neighborhood. I am compelled to say "shame on you!". Look through your past posts and then focus on how nit-picky you are now being once you have gotten what you so desperately desired. In this particular incidence, we have a restaurant that has been open a total of 10 days, hit the ground running, and done a bang-up job I might add. The only thing you can find to gripe about is A-1 sauce?!! Come-on people! I have patronized Fion for sometime now, and I completely commend those guys for their service. Sit in there on a Friday night and see how the owner is driving patrons home and calling to make sure their car doesn't get towed. The girls that work there are top-notch and I am pretty sure that ANY women that lives in Steiner would take on the same composure being in the same work environment. As for the food, I challenge anyone to find portion size, value, and quality within a ten mile radius of Steiner Ranch. Lake Travis as a whole for that matter. Negative, negative, negative!! Come on residents, I know we are better than this.
