We went to Rice at Riverplace the other night after reading in the Four Points News that it was from the same owners of Thai Spice in Beecaves and Lakeway and since those are some of our favorite Thai Restaurants (others being Madam Maam’s and Thai Tara) we decided to check out Rice. The menu is very similar and we ordered the same dishes that we usually do at Thai Spice and it turned out good. I highly recommend it. Service, food and ambience were all good.

I second your review! We’ve only ordered takeout but the portions are generous and tasty. I hope this restaurant is here to stay.

I brought my family there the other night and it was very good. Kids liked it as well. I just hope they start getting more patronage from the area.

We have eaten there several times, and it is one of our favorites. The sushi is actually excellent, and seems to get overshadowed by the Thai food (which is also excellent). Every time we’ve been there, it’s been a great experience. The chicken nuggets are even high quality and our kids love them.
It’s really a shame more people don’t know about this place, because the food is much better than the Thai place in Steiner and it is insanely uncrowded every time we go.

We went for lunch this week and the Thai food was really good. The lunch portions are good and the appetizer bar is great!
