Did not know that there will be another Fion in Bee Caves.
One from Rob Balon… who for some reason seems to be the pre-eminent food critic in Austin.
Another an older one from the Chronicle. I have still not eaten there… maybe some day

Some follow up commentary:
The new Fion in Bee Cave just opened a couple of weeks ago. It does not have a bistro, but has a larger beer selection on tap. It is, however, next door to the new location for Zoot.
Balon really tries to support and talk-up local restaurants, which I think is a good idea. His reviews are generally positive because, as I understand it, if he goes somewhere and doesn’t like it he just doesn’t review it, instead of panning it.
You need to go eat at Fion. The food is good.
