About

Two Abouts… first the website then me.

About this website: I developed this website with the purpose of putting up some reviews and phone numbers of the business’ in Steiner Ranch so that people could find this information easily. I then started getting a lot of hits and comments, so I bought a domain and asked a good friend for some web hosting space and here we are. I like comments and ask any questions to me at steinerranchinfo@gmail.com

Me… I grew up in South Carolina, went to college at the University of Michigan, came to Austin and got a job… and have been here ever since… maybe more info at a later date.

Any idea why Steiner Ranch does not recyle?

This is such a beautiful neighborhood, and in the middle of nature that I don’t understand why the HOA does not encourage recycling.

It doesn’t seem difficult- all they have to do is add or simple replace some of the current trash cans with recycle ones. I ache each time I pick up the mail and see all of the plastic bottles and most of all the junk mail paper that can be easily recycled.

Any idea who I can contact? Thank you,

Just want to give a heads up to fellow neighbors out there in need of landscape work. We had a really BAD experience with Roy at NatureWorks landscaping. The work was 100% more than the estimate, took 2.5 weeks to finish what I was told would take 3 days. Their “crew” consisted of 1 person. They never checked the sprinkler system after it was installed. Have tried to contact since job completed with no response. I could go on and on….

Can anyone recommend a company for fence repair?

I would just like to say thank you for the site , I have lived in Steiner for over 7 years and own and operate Young Carpet Cleaning and Repairs .( based here in Steiner Ranch ) I rely on “word of mouth “advertising and it’s hard to reach everyone in my own neighborhood .Call me or click the video link on our website ( youngcarpet.com ) for details. It’s also really nice to find out about other recommended companies to help avoid a bad experience when we are in need of a product or service …
    thank you again
