From one of my sources… Construction should start this month. It is funded and they are selecting a general contractor now. A movie theater is still being worked on but not confirmed. Brooklyn Pie has been signed up. Also there is interest from a a spa, a Bistro, Tex Mex, sandwich/salads/soups, medical office, dance studio, and sports training. I really wish a viable Tex Mex places opens up here. I can’t understand how a place like Chuy’s, Trudy’s, or El Arroyo has not come out here and opened up a place and make a killing. To a lesser extent a Firebowl, Panera, or fast casual food place would also do really well out here. Instead they build them all at the Arboretum, Cedar Park, or down in South Austin. What is the reason? Are land prices to high here? Do retailers/restaurateurs think there is no demand?
