Last week I decided to check out the newest nail salon in Steiner, La Bella Nails. The place is gorgeous and tranquil – more like a day spa than a “neighborhood nail shop.” Prices are on par with Kim Nails and Glamour Nails, but a much better environment. It was quiet with relaxing music playing -and not a lot of chatter. For me, getting a pedicure is more about the experience than the polish. It’s a mini-escape. I got the Deluxe pedicure ($38), and was extremely pleased. Andy took extra care to make sure the water temperature was just right, got me a drink, and gave me one of the best leg/foot massages I’ve ever gotten during a pedi. He told me they were adding on private rooms in the back for other services – waxing, massage, etc.. I’m very excited to have a place like this in the neighborhood! They are located on the left side of Randall’s and open at 9:30. Appointments are encouraged, but certainly not necessary.
