I just visited Steiner Eye Care to get a new contact prescription and I can see! That might seem like a no-brainer, but my visit to a different Dr. in the Four Points area had me squinting for the past 6 months in ill-fitting contacts that were not the right prescription, or apparently the correct type of lens for my dry eyes.
I called this morning and was able to make a same-day appointment. The receptionist was nice and directed me to their website where I could fill out my forms ahead of time (why don’t all doctors do this??). When I got there, I only had to sign a few forms and was taken back to meet Dr. Barnett. He told me that they would be one of the first clinics in the country to get a new machine that no longer requires you to have your eyes dilated. After the exam, he talked to me for a few minutes to determine what type of lens I needed. Since I use the computer a lot, he recommended a new lens that is great for dry eyes (so far, so good!).
Personally, I’m beyond thrilled to have Steiner Eye Care in the neighborhood. We now have a convenient place for exams (and with no dilation, you could even schedule before work on your way our of Steiner!), contacts, and glasses, and an expert Doctor with the latest technology!
