I have been having fun creating and delivering salads to you. This will be the fourth week of salads. For August, I would like to rotate in some of your favorites, so feel free to let me know what you would like to see on the menu again.
Here’s the deal for those of you new to Salad for Friends – otherwise skip down to the menu –
Every Thursday I will send out the following week’s menu of available salads. Each day will feature a different salad, however I will have some items available everyday, including products from my handmade Bavarian pretzel line. Salads are designed to serve one generously or several as sides.
You decide which salad/delivery date works for you and email or call me with your choices by midnight Saturday…though earlier is better in order to hit the farmer’s market on Saturday morning. I will deliver your salad between 4-6 pm on your scheduled day(s.) If you are not home simply leave a cooler that can fit a 9″x 9″ container on your doorstep. I will take care of the ice. Pay with cash or checks made to me at the time of delivery. (You can leave the payment in the cooler if you are gone. I will have change.) If you have multiple orders during the week, we can settle up on the last delivery day.

Salad Menu for the week of July 30th
Monday: Shrimp Spinach Avocado Salad- Organic spinach, Gulf shrimp, avocado, and grapefruit in a lime-grapefruit-ginger vinaigrette ($15)
Tuesday: Apricot Almond Feta Salad- Organic mixed greens, apricots, toasted almonds, feta cheese with a light white wine vinegar-shallot dressing ($10) add $5 for an all natural antibiotic/preservative free chicken breast
Wednesday: Quinoa Spinach Smoked Paprika Salad- Organic quinoa, organic spinach, garbanzo beans, cherry tomatoes, baby cucumbers, basil, and feta cheese in a smoked paprika vinaigrette ($10)add $5 for an all natural antibiotic/preservative free chicken breast
Thursday: Waldorf Salad – Organic mixed greens, organic Fuji apples, grapes, celery, candied pecans, Gorgonzola with chicken ($15) or without ($10) served with a balsamic vinaigrette.
Friday: Chinese Chicken Salad – Romaine lettuce, baby cucumbers, carrots, scallions, chicken, cilantro, toasted peanuts in an Asian citrus dressing ($15)
Also available for delivery any day of the week
Spinach- Apple-Bacon Salad – Spinach, Fuji apples, bacon (the real deal or vegetarian), blue cheese in an apple cider-shallot vinaigrette ($10)
All natural chicken apple or Bison pretzel dogs ($4) freezable and microwavable
Cream Cheese Bacon Chive Pretzel Buns ($3.50) freezable and microwavable
