Update from Tom Henry on the a Steiner Cares Event:
Last Saturday kicked off our 3 week drive to support the Austin chapter of Dress For Success. We have had a great response so far! Thanks to all who have contributed to helping these women of Austin get back on their feet.
Who are the women served by Austin’s Dress For Success?
Age:
51% are under the age of 31
28% are between 32 and 45Education:
18% have not completed high school
30% high school diploma
21% GED
10% have college degreesMarital Status:
69% are single
20% are divorced or separated58% Have Children
46% are living in a safehouse, homeless shelter or transitional housing
We still have 2 more weeks left. Please show your support for Austin’s disadvantaged women. Dress For Success helps these ladies help themselves. Please take time to clean your closets!
We still need:
Ladies Suits, blouses, gently used shoes and handbags, scarves and new pantyhose, bras and new cosmetics.
Drop your donations at the Welcome Center, the HOA offices, the fire station, or 4 Sons’ Cleaners in Steiner Ranch.
