As I’m sure you know, we’re in a severe drought and WCID #17 has put us in Conservation Stage One. I’ve seen quite a few doors with yellow “warning” signs on them for homeowners not following the watering restrictions, so here they are:
Odd Numbered Address – Wednesday and/or Saturday
Even Numbered Address – Thursday and/or Sunday
WATERING TIMES ON YOUR DAY BEGIN AT MIDNIGHT and go from Midnight to 10:00 a.m., then again from 7:00 p.m. to Midnight of the same day.
Please note that a two-day a week watering schedule is mandatory for Residential customers from May 1st through September 30th. Repeated violations of the mandatory schedule will result in fines. As a reminder, the first offense will receive a warning with no penalty. Should you receive a notice beyond a warning, your water will be shut off until the fine is paid. Fines for not following the mandatory watering schedule are
1st Offense – Warning
2nd Offense – $200
3rd Offense – $500
4th Offense – $1000
5th Offense – $2000
