Homes in The Headlands were built for space and comfort. The lots here are larger, many over 1/3 of an acre. Landscaping has had time to take root and settle, with an abundance of mature trees shading yards, streets and homes. However, nothing here is too old. Many of the homes were built between 1994 and 2001 with a few more added in 2010 by Newmark and Morrison. With ten cul-de-sacs, through traffic is at a minimum, and many of the homes back up to a greenbelt or preserve. This is an ideal location for anyone looking for a larger, more private property with gorgeous views and/or mature landscaping. Also, there are a number of trails crisscrossing the Headlands, connecting it to the John Simpson Community Center right next door.
