Savannah
Homes in Savannah range from about 1900 to 3500 square feet. Most lots are around .17 acres. The neighborhood is surrounded by the Balcones Preserve with lucky homeowners on Capitol Saddlery, Golden Palomino and Rush Creek enjoying expansive panoramic views. Many of these homes also have great views of the University of Texas Golf Club (a coveted view on the 4th of July!). Homes were built between 2003 and 2008 by Meritage Homes (who bought out Hammonds Homes) and Plantation Homes. Savannah is connected to Las Brisas by a playground. It’s worth noting that many of the homes in this neighborhood are larger than the sq. footage indicated. When the homes were being built, many of Meritage’s plans included options for additional rooms that took the square footages beyond what was allowed by Steiner Ranch. Meritage framed these rooms and left them for homeowners to finish after closing. Keep an eye out for these homes with unfinished space when buying. You may be able to finish it out for MUCH less than the cost of purchasing the additional square footage elsewhere.
